CHAPTER 6: Lipstick on a Pig.
Part 1: The Spice Must Flow.
One day when he was minding his own business, Turtle noticed that something was following him.
Looking closer, he couldn't believe his eyes. Turns out that he must've pissed off the three houses of Arrakis again because it was that same sand worm out to get him, this time in Lola! Or maybe it was just out for some more tasty Toyota nom noms. Either way it was coming in quick.
He hit the throttle, but even the re-built 16v was no match for a sand worm with an empty stomach.
It closed in and made a lunge for Lola.
Turtle thought it was all over. He left his fate in the hands of the Shai-Hulud. With a loud crash, the sand worm struck.
An indirect hit. The ground stopped shaking and all that could be heard was the thumping of Turtle's heart beating out of his chest. The sand worm was gone.
He got out of the car and looked around. All that remained was a mound of dirt the size of a Spice Harvester. Then he got a glimpse of his driver's side quarter panel.
Not cool, man. Not cool.
Enraged. All Turtle could do was shake his fist in the air and yell into the sky at the sand worm that was already long gone.
